White Walnut Churchkhela

Although known as a Georgian sweet, churchkhela is best made in Kahramanmaras Province of Turkey. Made by dipping a string with walnut pieces into frothy grape molasses, sugar and starch mixture, this sausage-shaped candy is hung out to dry and cut into pieces and enjoyed as a gummi-like dessert. This type is softer than the other churchkhelas.
